The ABODE range of bivvies and shelters offer the serious angler that extra comfort and protection from whatever the elements may deliver.
ABODE Falcon bivvy dome uses 100% waterproof 5000HH 210D green PU backed tape sealed DPM Abode-texx fabric. Using Ultra-light 6063 aerospace grade aluminium poles and aluminium centre block the Falcon dome is self standing and fast erecting taking around one minute to erect. The alloy five rib frame keeps the bivvy light for its size with two shorter section poles forming the peak at the front above the door aiding cover from sun and rain even with the letterbox door open. Once erected the included Skull Cap can be attached which helps reduce condensation.
The dome has a full front zip-on zip-off panel with two side Mozzy mesh vents and integral two way removable letterbox style door and hoop & loop removable clear window. To the rear are a further two Mozzy mesh air vents which when used in conjunction with the front mosquito mesh vents makes for good air flow whilst maintaining an excellent bug free environment day and night during the hot UK or Continental summer season.
The heavy duty zipped PVC groundsheet will appeal to those intent on keeping creepy crawlies out and forms a raised lip at the door front. Looking above the groundsheet are elasticated loops that the included vapour shield can be attached to - which when in place further helps reduce moisture forming inside and thus reducing condensation.
Two storm poles are included and can be used straight up in-line with the door or angled to sit to the furthermost pegging points. Heavy duty mallet proof bivvy T pegs are included together with a 600 Denier DPM Heavy duty carry bag which completes the set up.
