Great item. Fixed in 40 mins with 8 pop rivets (screws provided if not available) they also provide self adhesive packing strips to keep the seat even. Comfortable and light - wont disappoint.
Dimensions: The actual back rest itself is 44cm wide and 21cm high, the total height from the top of the back rest to the underside of the fixing brackets is 33cm, the fixing brackets when laid flat are 16cm long, with fixing holes 12cm apart, the padding on the back rest is 4cm in the middle increasing to 5cm on the furthermost outside areas.

This item can be fixed to your existing seatbox by a competent person (you will no if it is suitable? you already own your box?) fixing can be done by removing your padded seat top and fixing the seat top before re-attaching to your seat box lid, or you may find the item can be fixed directly to your box using self tap screws or rivets, again you will be able to work out if suitable by looking at your own box by comparing dimensions and studying the pictures here. Excellent piece of kit. Bit of head scratching to fit it as I didn’t see the description at first.
Bought the padded back rest, as I have a back problem, but I had no back pain at all, if I could I would give the back rest 10 stars, and I would recommend this to any one.

The back rest seems sturdy and easy to fit just remove the seat to fit with me having a bad back it is a blessing to support the lower back would recommend.
